Williams KY Cavalry July 1864 as the Union forces left Buckhead Crossing a Kentucky Calvary under the command of Wheeler met with Union forces at Nancy Creek in Atlanta on Powers ferry Road and attempted to prevent the Yankees from intercepting Howard's forces.
