The project for 2013 is to digitize the wills for many of the counties in North Carolina. We are currently working on Mecklenburg County from 1783 to 1844. These old wills were kept by the secretary of state and appear to be in good order. The actual will is very important to read because it provides details about members of families and other heirs.
